Position Overview

The primary mission for the Sales Executive role is to receive qualified leads from SDRs/MDRs, and bring them to close through the ‘lower funnel’ advancement stages of first in-person meeting, proposal requested, proposal, and win. The successful candidate will use standard Marketing Evolution (ME) materials and processes to understand, map and influence a network of marketing executives and stakeholders in the prospect companies to continually improve their first meeting to close rate and cycle timing. They are expert at standard sales productivity tools such as Salesforce, and ‘live’ in those systems.  They have experienced success in an enterprise SaaS sales environment, selling into the marketing function, including its senior leadership, and at $500K plus ASPs.  A secondary mission is to help develop and build out ME’s sales process absorbing and advancing their intelligence on the company, ROI Brain platform, industry, competitors/ecosystem, customer stories and use cases, as well as buying triggers.

Responsibilities and key characteristics:

  • Thorough knowledge of consultative selling, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, trial closing, objection handling, and closing.
  • Organized and self-motivated while working independently to set and achieve goals.
  • High energy with ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast-changing environment.
  • Take coaching well.
  • Focus on advancing to the close – knows how to question to advance (e.g. Spin selling)
  • Ability to manage relationships.
  • Ambitious and goal driven.
  • Good negotiating skills.
  • A team player who will enjoy contributing to building out the company’s sales systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Enterprise sales experience in a SaaS platform environment at $500K plus ASP.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to ‘live’ in Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Martech or AdTech ecosystem a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proactive and strikes fast, calm under pressure and excellent listener
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies; interest and experience in using technology and the internet to improve work efficiency.
  • Professional presentation skills, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities.
