Digital Media Analyst

Position Overview

We are looking for an extremely smart and innovative analyst who can transform multi-sourced data into ROI management and media mix optimization software. This individual will work closely with Marketing Evolution’s Product Operations, Customer Success, and Modeling teams to configure and execute software solutions to address customer needs, in a similar way that a traditional Product Manager would for a software-as-a-service firm. He or she will gain a deep understanding of how data flowing into our software affects the recommendations that flow outward, and will be called on to innovate in how the software operates.

Responsibilities

  • Transform digital media data into software inputs, using Excel & other data modeling environments
  • Use excel and proprietary software to structure the data that flows into our tools and fuels our marketing optimization engine
  • Analytically problem-solve and innovate within the framework of structuring data and software to produce the most accurate media mix recommendations
  • Collaborate with the customer success team, and engage with customers as necessary, to assess media needs
  • Collect and process data for optimizations using multiple inputs/sources, e.g. media reach/frequency and cost
  • Participate in conversations with clients and Marketing Evolution client service teams regarding customer digital research goals
  • Supply agency and publishers with appropriate digital tags for ad tracking and survey recruitment
  • Monitor incoming results and proactively correct any issues to ensure the data is of the highest possible quality
  • Act as an expert and resource for customers and the company internally in an ever-changing digital space
  • Coordinate digital data sourcing, acting as digital measurement process owner on customer engagements

Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • Interest in media and marketing business
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and execute them with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, filters, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python a huge plus
  • Experience with digital advertising buying and trafficking a plus, but not required
